Q: How do I sign up for classes?
A: You can sign up for classes by phone or in-person during our regular office hours, which are Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm. We will need you to provide us with your contact information, the class(es) you want to register for and your tuition payment. Want to get through registration quickly? Q: Can I register for classes online?

Q: Can I get priority registration with a donation?
A: Yes! One of the benefits of McGroarty Membership is priority registration. Learn more about McGroarty Membership on our donation page.
Q: How do I pay for my classes?
A: We accept cash, check and VISA/Mastercard. You are welcome to make payment in person, over the phone or through the mail. You can also pay in installments by making arrangements with the office 818-352-5285.
Q: May I watch my child attend class?
A: Parents are welcome to observe the first day of class. After the first day, we ask that parents wait outside the class room unless further observation is approved by the instructor.
Q: My child has special needs. How can I best prepare for their experience at McGroarty Arts Center?
A: Children of all talents and abilities are welcome in our classes. Children with special needs often take our classes with a shadow or with the help of a parent. For help choosing a class for your child, please call 818-352-5285.
Q: Why did you cancel my class?
A: Running classes with too few students compromises both the learning experience of the students and the financial viability of the Center. We require that a minimum number of students (e.g. 4-6 children, depending on the subject) enroll to run a class. Classes that do not reach the minimum enrollment 3 business days prior to the start of class are subject to cancellation. If your class is canceled, you will be contacted and offered a full refund, the opportunity to join a different class, or a credit to use for future classes at the Center. You can help us avoid canceling classes by encouraging friends and neighbors to enroll before the cut-off date.
Q: Can I make up a class that I missed on a different day or time, in the current or upcoming sessions?
A: No, unfortunately we are unable to offer make-up classes. If you have questions, call our office 818-352-5285.
Q: Where is my class being held? How do I find the office?
Q: Our building has three entrances and three separate classroom spaces. We will provide you with your specific classroom space and best way to access it in your confirmation email.
