Watercolor: Basics for All Levels

About this course: This class meets once a week for 8 weeks. Learn and refine essential techniques of watercolor such as glazing, “wet in wet,” lifts, and negative painting using subject matter of flowers, still life, and nature/landscapes. Elements of art, design, composition, and color empha- sized. All levels will benefit.

About this course: This class meets once a week for 8 weeks. In this adventurous class we will make mixed media collages. What is mixed media? Scanned photos, paint, fabric, ribbons, stamp art, even poetry can be added to create a beautiful one-of-a-kind art piece. Let your imagination run free.

Adult Ceramics

Ages 18+

About this course: This class meets once a week for 8 weeks. Work includes hand-building, potter's wheel and sculptural techniques. Bring your own tools or purchase from office.  Each student receives 5,000 cubic inches of kiln space. Additional kiln space available at 5 cents a cubic inch.

Required supplies: Required toolkit is $15 and available in office for purchase.

Mommy & Me Yoga

Ages 3-6

About this course: This class meets once a week for 8 weeks. Mommy & Me yoga is a fun way to reconnect with your body while enjoying time with your child. It’s a great way to take part in an understanding community of other moms, while learning fun and healthy ways to connect with body and mind.

Required supplies: Please bring yoga mats or towels. Please bring yourself and a willingness to learn new things.

About this course: This class meets once a week for 8 weeks. Learn the fundamentals of piano as well as intermediate and advanced techniques. You'll benefit from small group lessons and receive individual attention. 

Required supplies: Students must have piano/keyboard at home and be willing to practice a minimum of 10 minutes per day. Piano book for daily practice (piano book available in office for $15).

About this course: This class meets once a week for 8 weeks. Level 1 is for children who are brand new to guitar. Teens and adults who are brand new to guitar may start in level 2. Level 3 is for intermediate and advanced students. Teacher will assess student’s level. 

Required supplies: Students must have guitar at home and be willing to practice a minimum of 10 minutes per day. Students should bring their guitar, folder, and pencil to class. Acoustic and electric guitars welcome. New students must purchase guitar book, $10 payable to instructor.
