Since our founding over fifty years ago, McGroarty Arts Center has had the honor of being a member of the Sunland-Tujunga family. Our symbiotic relationship with our students and patrons has only strengthened over the years. Our programs are funded by the generous donors who recognize the Center as a community centerpiece and a vital part of the under-represented arts community.

Students and families who donate $50 and above are entitled to early registration and other benefits. Donations and class fees are central to the Center’s funding and continued presence in the community. We are also privileged to receive substantial grants from a select number of wonderful foundations and organizations who have given to ensure that this beacon of artistic expression may continue to grow and prosper. Without the generosity of all of our donors, the Center would cease to exist. We thank you deeply for continuing to be a part of the McGroarty Arts Center family.

In-kind giving

There are many types of giving. In difficult times, a monetary gift is not always feasible. The staff of McGroarty Arts Center happily accepts gifts of services and supplies. Below are the items we most desperately need, to keep the Center running smoothly and efficiently.

Please note that we can only accept items that directly support our programs.  Gifts of vehicles can be made to McGroarty Arts Center through Cars 4 Causes.  For gifts of stock, land or other asset, please contact Executive Director, Claire Knowlton.
