Kiln Technician

‍Title: Bookkeeper
Status / Classification: Part-time / Non-exempt
Hours: 6 hours per week
Location: Tujunga, CA - In-Person
Start Date: November - December 2026
Pay Range: $33-36 an hour DOEr

McGroarty Art Center (MAC), a small-sized non-profit, 501(c)(3), seeks a part-time Accountant to support the Executive Director and Treasurer to maintain and provide accurate financial records by preparing financial and operational reports, supporting the monthly and yearly closing process and processing payroll. This includes expense and donation tracking, paying bills, and preparing invoices, as well as a variety of other duties.

The position acts as a critical internal control to prevent fraud, errors and compliance issues by maintaining standard verification rules.

The ideal candidate is available to work in office two days a week for 6 hours, with possibility of some remote work after 6 months. Schedule is to be agreed with candidate.
