Let your kids explore the fun elements of Theatre Arts through games, movement, storytelling, and performance in this two week camp. Kids will showcase their newly accumulated skills in a short performance for families on the last day of camp.

Camp Sparkle: (Kids 6 through 8)

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

July 14, 16, 18 = week one

July 21, 23, 25 = week two

9 am to noon each day (with half hour snack break)

Camp Shine: (Kids 9 through 11)

About the Instructor:

Beth Wallace has been teaching theatre arts for almost twenty years, fourteen of those years were in public schools . While working in education, she developed a unique elementary school curriculum using the performing arts to strengthen teamwork, critical thinking skills and confidence in young students. Beth has served on various committees advocating for fine arts in public education.

Professional stand-up comedian, Seth Lawrence was a 2018 finalist in the US Comedy Contest. He has worked as host for the World Series of Comedy, performing in clubs all over the country. You can hear little clips of him on Family USA and Jeff & Larry's Comedy Roundup, if you're lucky. Most recently, Seth recorded a Dry Bar special set to come out later this year.

The Art of Stand-up Comedy

Have you ever wanted to try stand-up comedy? Maybe when you watch a stand-up comedian perform, you think, “I could do better than this joker.” Well, now is your chance! This four-week stand-up comedy workshop is designed to give you the tools to check the “Do Stand-up” item off your bucket list. You will learn what it takes to write and tell a joke, how to develop persona, stage presence and more. Seth will teach you everything you need to know to be a funnier version of you!

About the instructor:

Dan Jablons, best known for his performances on Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Family Business, The Out-Laws, and numerous other TV, Film, and commercial appearances, is an expert in improvisational theater.  In this 4 week class, he will introduce you to the basics of improv, and get you up on your feet and creating scenes, on the spot! 

Improv Comedy

Have you ever watched “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and thought that you’d like to try improv?  Do you wish you were more creative, more spontaneous, and more “in the moment"?  Do you aspire to do something artistic, but want to be sure you are in a supportive environment where you can explore your creative side?  If so, or if you just want to have a great time and laugh like you’ve never laughed before, this class is for you!
