Description: Learn the practice of Tai-chi Chuan, a martial art with a unique system of exercises developed hundreds of years ago in China by Taoist monks.

The basic movements of Tai-chi use every part of the body. Hands, elbows, fists, legs, shoulders, head, feet, toes, even the eyes, are all brought into play in a pattern of continually flowing movement. The movements are performed in a slow, almost leisurely manner, without any special muscular effort. And because they are not strenuous, anyone from eight to eighty can practice Tai-chi at no risk of injury and with the promise of renewed vitality.

McGroarty is an art center, not a dojo. Come to have fun and to learn this amazing martial art at your desired level of proficiency.
